Delivery and Payment
This is an English translation provided for your convenience. The legally binding version is the Czech original; in the event of any discrepancy, the Czech version shall prevail.
Delivery
We sell all books exclusively in electronic form (PDF). Nothing is shipped physically, so we do not charge any postage or packaging. The price shown with each book is final – we are not VAT payers. Prices are in Czech crowns (CZK).
- You can download the book immediately after successful payment, directly on the order page.
- We will also send a confirmation to your e-mail with the PDF book and the invoice attached.
- You can read the file on your phone, tablet, computer or any e-reader that supports PDF.
- Unless stated otherwise with a specific book, the books are written in Czech. The language is shown on each book page and at checkout.
If the e-mail does not arrive, please check your spam or promotions folder, or write to us at tichaknihovna@gmail.com. We will resend the link right away.
Payment
Payments are provided by the payment gateway of Comgate, a.s. The payment takes place on the secure page of the payment gateway. We never see or store your payment card details or your internet banking login details.
Card payment
We accept Visa and Mastercard payment cards, including payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay. After clicking “Buy and pay”, you will be redirected to the payment gateway, where you enter your card number, expiry date and security code (CVC/CVV), or confirm the payment with one touch in Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your bank may also verify the payment (3D Secure) – for example in its mobile app or with an SMS code. Once approved, you will automatically return to our shop and the book is ready to download. Bank payment buttons
On the payment gateway you can also choose your bank. The gateway redirects you to your internet banking, where you log in and simply confirm the pre-filled payment – you do not need to copy the account number, amount or reference. As soon as the bank confirms the payment, you will return to our shop and the book is ready to download. More about bank transfer payments.
